Bridging Colombian Tradition & Texas Craft
Café Tigua was founded on a simple commitment: connecting boutique roasters directly with the hands that cultivate world-class specialty coffee.
By eliminating unnecessary middlemen, we work in direct partnership with the Guzmán-Peña families across 49.4 acres at Fincas Las Marías and El Cedro in Acevedo, Huila, Colombia. Nestled at high altitudes with nutrient-dense soil, micro-lots represent generations of agricultural expertise, precise harvesting, and innovative post-harvest fermentations.
From Origin to DFW
We personally oversee the supply chain from the moment cherries are harvested to their arrival in Texas.
Direct Traceability: Every lot comes straight from specific plots at Fincas Las Marías & El Cedro.
Peak Preservation: Coffee is sealed at origin in GrainPro protective liners and traditional burlap to preserve moisture levels and cup profile during transit.
Texas-Based Supply: We handle U.S. importing, customs, and local logistics, providing DFW and regional roasters with reliable, state-side access to fresh Colombian harvests.
Whether you are looking for classic chocolate and red fruit profiles or experimental anaerobic fermentations, Café Tigua delivers exceptional green coffee with total supply-chain transparency.
